This invaluable course is a necessity for anyone who spends time in the outdoors. If you hunt, mountain bike, quad, skidoo, hike or paddle then you will at some point need the experience of navigating in the wilderness. Our backyard here in Canada is a big place and getting lost isn’t uncommon. In this complete wilderness navigation course, we cover topographical maps (1:50000), compass use, route finding, altimeters and GPS. All topics are covered in great detail with handouts, classroom session and most importantly hands on field experience.

This course will have outside field experience so please come prepared to spend some time outdoors; appropriate footwear and clothing is necessary.
